Olivia has nearly eight years of experience in physician compensation planning and valuation, making her a valuable asset to clients looking to rethink their payment structures and strategies. During her time working at an academic-affiliated, multispecialty health system, Olivia was exposed to various facets of physician compensation and understands the challenges leaders face when designing and operationalizing equitable and effective compensation methodologies that are also consistent with fair market value (FMV) and commercially reasonable. She is passionate about simplifying complex physician compensation processes and generating valuation and planning solutions that are easy to implement and compliant with organizational and federal policies.
Before joining ECG, Olivia worked as a senior analyst and physician contract specialist for Ascension Texas, primarily assisting with physician compensation planning and modeling. She then transitioned to the valuation team, which was responsible for developing and providing opinions of FMV and commercial reasonableness for all physician arrangements within the health system and mitigating risk by satisfying federal and institutional requirements and policies related to physician compensation. Olivia has worked closely with executives, physicians, and staff in analyzing and reviewing virtually all types of agreements involving physician services within a large health system.
